Capoeira Music

We play to live music which is the heart of capoeira.  Learning to play the berimbau, pandeiro, reco-reco and agogo is essential for a deeper understanding and connection within capoeira circles.

We list lyrics of songs here that are taught or sung during our regular classes; you can get the melody at class and the written words and translation here.  If some things aren’t translated it’s to encourage you to find out and remember.. good luck with this part.  1 song a week – after two years you’ll know over a hundred
